Yeah well it kind of worked. At least I managed to put some of the books I reckon are pretty good on my sidebar on the old bloogarooni.
Today it is 32C a fairly toasty one and I have been trying to get stuck into my Christmas card emails/cards without too much success so far. I have also been enjoying too many zooper doopers which are a cheap ice confection most made up of artificial flavours and sugars. Mmmm sugar high.
In fight night 2004 I have endured my first points loss to an opponent. I will have to be more conscious of pacing myself to last 10 rounds rather than going for the knock out in the first five as I usually like to do.
Makiko and I were thinking of going to see King Kong today which has just come out. But I suspect the cinema will be crazy busy as it is School and a lot of peoples christmas holidays.
I have just been listening most recently to powderfinger-traditionalist and prior to that the wynton marsalis quartet who bring a real nice warmth to their jazz.
I have been baffled by trying to get a weather report running on my blog so I just settled for a link to a weather report site.
Have bought some new coffee for my dripolator which should keep me awake on my big shift at work tomorrow. On thursdays I usually have this 8am-7pm shift which is a lot of fun in the silly season (the season of christmas that is).
Watched "the flight of the pheonix" last night. 3 stars completely average story but nice cinematography and shots of shiny plane and sand dunes.
Better go rustle up something for lunch and possibly avoid the christmas card dilemma by putting it off until friday.
Also going to look into some library and TESOL course for study possibly starting next year.
