Wow I almost do my tax return more often than I blog!

I really have been a bit lax with the blogging since I don't know about May. However there is a very good reason for this and that is that I am lazy. Anyhow just coming out of my mid semester break next week so this will probably be my last blog for a while. But who knows maybe I will get more into it.

I have done alright at uni this last semester so I am hoping to build on my successes and find some contacts in the information management field in this final half of the year. I have had a great break down the mornington peninisula earlier in the month. I have a few photos from that other than that I have been reading a lot of comics and playing a few computer games.

I have some work possibilities this week so I may have to pull the suit out of mothballs. This week also I have been reading Miyamoto Musashi's biography. He is a swordsman who is very famous in Japan. He won sixty duels and was in six campaigns. But while he is most well known for his skill with the sword he was also very good as an artist and in his later years became quite interested in various spiritual practices. Certainly and interesting geezer anyway.

I have been a bit social and have been out for the past three weekends to various shin digs which has been fun. I am endeavouring to try and keep in touch with all my mates which is hard as they are spread out all over the world now.

Anyhow the few pictures here are from my trip with Makiko up to the hot springs on the mornington peninsula. We also checked out the wineries and a cheese factory while we were out and about. Also on the tip of the peninsula is national park which contains part of the old coastal defences of Melbourne. Lots of bunkers to wander through and UXO (unexploded ordnance) which I haven't had any encounters with since my time in Laos.

Also someone stole my old stinky shoes at the hot spring resort which was unexpected. But I just upgraded my shoes up earlier than usual.

Peace out.
