Better stay home and put some serious time into the video games then. The latest distraction has been GTA San Andreas and there is quite a lot to like about it. It has the simple visceral pleasures of gang banging and stealing cars of the last few games. Combined with the ability to micromanage your characters attribute like the sims. Oh yeah also the story is fairly well developed and includes voice acting by Samuel.L.Jackson. I also like the music. The other day I got bored of the missions so I went and played pool in the bar. Old grunge music was playing it was like being back in uni. Lots of alice in chains and stone temple pilots.
I recently watched Batman Begins which was fairly enjoyable and bought 'awake is the new sleep' by Ben Lee which is a fine upbeat and optimistic acoustic guitar album by an Australian artist.
